The National Endowment for the Humanities awarded summer research stipends of $5,000 to 142 U.S. scholars. The stipends support two months of full-time research in the humanities. Among this year's recipients is SBL member Bernard Levinson of the University of Minnesota for the topic Revelation and Redaction: Rethinking Biblical Studies and Its Intellectual Models.
