Resources for Online Teaching

In 2020, many SBL members found themselves teaching online for the first time due to the COVID-19 outbreak. These resources were collected to help support our members during that difficult transition. Below is a list of external online resources* that may help facilitate the transition to online teaching environments. If you are familiar with any online resources that might assist your fellow members or if you would be willing to answer questions about online teaching your colleagues might have, please contact us at sblpressp@sbl-site.org.

Remember that many publishers, including SBL Press, have e-books available for faculty and student use through your institutional library. Check your on-line catalog or contact your librarian to inquire about access to e-books through EBSCO, JSTOR, ProQuest, and other platforms.

SBL Press titles can be purchased for individual use from Google Play and Amazon, and open-access volumes in the Ancient Near East Monographs and International Voices in Biblical Studies series are available for download.
