The Society publishes books of scholarly excellence and international interest. Since 2002, all new SBL titles have been published simultaneously in paperback editions by the Society itself and in hardback editions by Brill Academic Publishers.

The SBL is proud to serve as the authorized North American distributor for books published by Sheffield Phoenix Press (SPP), a relatively young publishing house with a rich publishing pedigree, and as the distributor for the prestigious Brown Judaic Studies Monograph Series (BJS).
