The Society of Biblical Literature is the oldest and largest international scholarly membership organization in the field of biblical studies. Founded in 1880, the Society has grown to over 8,500 international members including teachers, students, religious leaders and individuals from all walks of life who share a mutual interest in the critical investigation of the Bible.

Requirements for Participation

Participation
Limited to two appearance total. Presiding at a session counts as an appearance.

Membership
SBL membership is required at the time of a proposal
Membership will be checked on Jan 31, 2004 and non-current members will be removed from the program at that time.
Membership must be current member at time of International Meeting

Registration
Participants must be registered for the meeting by March 1st or risk being removed from the program.
