Symposium Series presents essay-length studies, contributed by various scholars, that address a particular topic related to the biblical literature and/or its cultural environment. The aim of the series is to provide for the publication of studies that have emerged from collaborative work, especially within the SBL’s own program units, and that are best published together rather than separately. For more information about publishing a book in this series, contact the series editor: Victor H. Matthews
