<< Return to SBL Forum Archive Comment on "Wired Scholar"

I'm very pleased that Danny Zacharias speaks so glowingly of ETANA and Abzu ("The Wired Scholar: Five Free Tools You May Not Know About " in SBL Forum ), but I would like to offer a minor correction. Where Mr. Zacarias states "ABZU catalogs over four hundred freely available online books, articles, and websites related to the ancient Near East", it would be more accurate to say "Abzu catalogs nearly ten thousand freely available online books, articles, and websites related to the ancient Near East and the Mediterranean world".

Abzu offers an RSS feed for anyone interersted in following what is being cataloged there, and a blog constructed from that feed "What's New in Abzu " provides a chronologial index of material cataloged (at this moment 1917 items) in Abzu since late September 2005.
