Yad Hanadiv and the Beracha Foundation are offering visiting fellowships

in Jewish Studies for the academic year 2002-2003.

Fellowships will be awarded to teachers of Judaic studies who hold non-tenured university positions, or who will have received tenure after September 2002. The fellows will spend the academic year in Israel, working on their own research but also meeting regularly with a senior scholar in their

field. Fellows are required to confirm that upon completion of their fellowship they will resume teaching Jewish studies at a university abroad.

The fellowships for 2002-2003 will be in the amount of $20,000., with an

additional allowance of $2,000. for spouse and $2,000. for each child.

Applications must be received by December 31st 2001.
