POETS
Selfish writers of
muffled thoughts
whose stock-in-trade is
obscurity
creating work for
idle minds
whose profit is
ambiguity.
TIME TO SLEEP
My neighbour is sleeping and I am working
and beckoning dreams knock on my eyelids.
He snores in his sleep and I rub on my eyes.
I wonder who is the wise guy, my neighbour or I.
I struggle with this poem that never rhymes
Some poems can be very funny at times.
A little longer and my alarm clock will beep
Maybe he is right, it's now time to sleep.
