The Wabash Center is launching a study of effective practices for teaching introductory courses in theology and religion. Barbara Walvoord, Professor of English and Director of the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Notre Dame, will study the practices of over 50 effective teachers, which will result in publications and workshops to improve teaching. Letters requesting nominations of effective teachers have been sent to department chairs. For more information, visit
