2003 Regional Scholar - Dan W. ClantonDan W. Clanton, Jr. is an Instructor at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He received his M.A. degree from the Iliff School of Theology. He has recently completed his Ph.D. from Iliff and the University of Denver, and his dissertation was on the story of Susanna and its aesthetic Renaissance interpretations. His research interests include artistic, musical, and literary interpretations of biblical women as well as the intersection between the Bible and culture. His paper, entitled "Queen Salome and the Girls: (Re)Dating the Story of Susanna," was presented at the Rocky Mountain/Great Plains Regional Meeting.
