By now, ALL SBL members should have gotten an e-mail letter informing them of the decision by the AAR Board to hold stand-alone meetin gs beginning in 2008. The SBL Council met April 24-27 and discussed the AAR decision . A follow up letter was posted on April 29 outlining the SBL Council response. A survey of the entire SBL membership will be conducted within a few weeks. Look for the e-mail and please respond. The input of all members of the Society is important as we move forward and make a series of decisions in the coming months.
